The personnel was very kind and helpful. Amazing old italian country and mountain view. Strongly reccomened for use.

The hotel is quite far from buses so you need a car to get to/from there, the breakfast is not rich.

very quiet as it is nestled in the middle of nowhere with beautiful views but still accessible by car within 30 minutes , Clean and upgraded bathroom facility for the location it was surprising.

Exploring the -Cinque Terre- region plus spending a day in Portovernere

Good view, not your typical hotel - more like an old country house feeling. The lady was very friendly, did not speak much English, but explained to us wonderfully in Italian how to get to La Spezia railway and park our car.

Coming from La Spezia and San Benedetto it is an easy way to follow with a gps, however coming from Riomaggiore and the rest of Cinque Terre, prepare for a long road with lots of tight turns.

Best hot water supply in Italy so far. Decor displays local charm but some inconvenience managing luggage.

The Inn is only manned for limited hours. Limited breakfast. Be prepared for steps. Parking is 100m down hill: it would be better to have designated hotel parking or a hotel sign near the parking area to avoid driving up the narrow lane.

Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was huge and the owners were really nice to us and even gave us a ride back to la spezia in the morning!

It's an expensive taxi ride but if we'd been more organised we probably could have bussed some of the way.

Closed to La Spezia, situated in top of a hill, a bit isolated if not arriving by car, but the lady owner will go extra mile and come pick you up from where ever the bus or trains leaves you. Great accommodation if planning to take a trip to Cinque Terre.

Nice historical place in mountain ,ideal for paars where you have discretly atmosphare and silence.

Well placed for visiting Cinque Terre. La Spezia train station within 15 minutes by car. Hotel can be recommended for people travelling by car, otherwise you are a bit isolated. The place itself is nicely situated. The host is kind, speaks Italian only (an asset for these wanting to practice). Room clean. In summary fairly good offer for a double room at 65€ (off season price probably).

Car parking is restricted to side of a road terminus. The road is super narrow. There is currently two rentals at this site. La Locanda del Podesta, has 6 rooms. Another building is being renovated possibly for another hotel. There will be no extra parking available . The only restaurant has been closed. For meals you need to go to LaSpezia or the local towns which are 10 minutes away. You need a car to stay here. The most expensive hotel for the least provisions.

We got much information about Cinque Terre from the owner.

It was not quiet during the night despite the location (dogs, neighborhoods). The breakfast was not good (only (dried) breads and coffee). The bathroom was not clean and amenities were not changed on the second day. The restaurant of the hotel was closed.

Nothing about good to say about this place

Not even the gps could find this hotel. By its address it is located in Rocco del Golf but is in fact located at a district called Caste. After asking 13 people for directions and 2 and 1/2 hours later we finally arrived at the hotel at the top of a mountain where this hotel is located only to find it closed. There was nobody there. It seemed abandoned. There was a sign at the door advising that we were to call a certain number. After trying to find a phone around, we reached an answering machine. In summary, what a nightmare that was. I do not reccomend anyone to stay there. It was a waste of time and money because we had giving our credit card number to Booking to confirm our reservation.
